Printed Wisdom

Brighter Things Apparel

Short parables and plain truth, printed on the things people already reach for every morning.

Wear something worth reading.

01 - The Short Way To Say It

A parable does the teaching for you.

A short line lands where a lecture does not. That is the whole method here. Read the line, then turn the card over for what it means. Same thing happens when somebody reads your shirt across a room.

02 - Mission

Knowledge, handed over in a way people keep.

The mission is simple. Put good information in front of people in a form they will actually hold onto. A parable on a tee shirt gets read a hundred times. A greeting card gets kept in a drawer for years.

Most advice gets handed over as a speech, and most speeches get forgotten by the parking lot. A short line printed on something you use every day works differently. It waits until you are ready for it.

Read it daily
03 - What We Print On

Everyday things, carrying a line.

Tee shirts, greeting cards, cups, mugs and face masks. Blank stock, chosen for how it takes ink and how long it lasts. The line goes on after that.

04 - Who It Is For

Made for all walks of life.

  • Anybody, whatever they walked through

Nothing here is written for one kind of person. The lines are meant to make sense to somebody in a suit and somebody coming off a double shift, and to mean the same thing to both.

  • Kids, and it has to actually land with them

If a child cannot read the line and tell you what it means, the line is not finished. Short words, real pictures, nothing talking down to anybody.

  • Whoever they hand it to next

A card gets given away. A mug sits on a desk where the whole office reads it. The point is never one person. It is the next person over.

Where it starts
05 - The Idea

Give people something that wakes up how they think.

That sentence is the whole brand, and it came before the shirts did. Not to tell anybody what to believe. Just to hand over a thought with enough truth in it that a person turns it over for a while.

Everything gets written the same way. One line, plain enough to read across a room, honest enough that it holds up when somebody thinks about it later. If it needs a paragraph to explain, it goes back to the desk.

Printing was the practical part. A shirt travels. A card gets kept. Both of them say the thing again long after the conversation is over.

06 - Long View
Good information on a tee shirt and a card, and every one of them reflecting knowledge.

Still Writing

Ready when you are.

New lines get written, printed and set out as they are finished. The full range and the ways to get one are on the way. Read the parables above in the meantime, and see which one you would put on.
